Position Summary: The University of California, San Francisco is actively seeking faculty members to join the Adult Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Division. The successful candidates will hold positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

Role Responsibilities: The appointee will be responsible for providing clinical services within the Interventional Pulmonology (IP) unit, alongside managing outpatient pulmonary practices that emphasize the IP and Lung Nodule Program. The Lung Program at UCSF Fresno is recognized as one of the largest in the nation, dedicated to the early detection and swift treatment of lung cancer. Depending on their expertise and interest in IP, candidates may also have the opportunity to cover the Medical ICU.

Teaching and Research: In addition to clinical duties, faculty members will engage in educational activities, including the supervision of trainees and participation in clinical research initiatives. Faculty appointments will be aligned with the applicant's qualifications and achievements.

Educational Environment: UCSF Fresno offers a comprehensive medical education program, featuring residency and fellowship opportunities in Internal Medicine, including a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. The program operates within a leading medical facility, equipped with a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit designed for advanced bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonary procedures.

Candidate Qualifications: Applicants must possess board certification in Internal Medicine and be board certified or eligible in both Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, as well as in Interventional Pulmonology. Eligibility for a California Medical License is also required.

Compensation: For positions funded by the affiliate organization, a competitive salary range has been established.
