Application Overview

Position Summary: The University of California, San Francisco (Fresno Medical Education Program) in collaboration with Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), operating as Inspire Health, is in search of a dedicated full-time faculty member specializing in Rheumatology. This role is open to candidates at any academic rank, including Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess board certification in Internal Medicine and either board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology. Applicants should also be eligible to apply for a California Medical License.

Responsibilities: The position encompasses a variety of duties including:

  • Providing outpatient Rheumatologic care and conducting inpatient consultations.
  • Engaging in Rheumatology education and teaching activities.
  • Participating in clinical research initiatives.

Clinical responsibilities will be carried out in a hospital-based clinic, community clinic, and VA clinic. Leadership experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation: A competitive salary package is offered, along with an academic appointment at the University of California, San Francisco, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and achievements.
