Job Title: Canvasser

Thrive Distributions is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Canvasser to join our dynamic team. As a Canvasser, you will play a crucial role in our direct marketing and sales operations, engaging with potential customers and promoting our campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new territories and neighborhoods for direct marketing and sales activities.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients on a daily basis.
  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our services to both new and existing customers.
  • Plan and execute canvassing operations to increase company revenue through direct sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects and the outcomes of said interactions.
  • Provide insights to the sales team based on customer feedback and interaction to help shape future pitches.
  • Attend team meetings, sharing best practices and areas for improvement.
  • Strictly adhere to routing plans to cover assigned areas efficiently.
  • Report daily performance, including leads generated and conversion rates.
  • Handle objections and rejection by maintaining professionalism and using approved rebuttals.
  • Participate in continued training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Uphold the company's reputation by fostering an honest and proactive engagement with the community.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a canvasser or similar role with direct client engagement.
  • Strong ability to communicate and persuade with excellent verbal presentation.
  • Resilience and energy to manage door-to-door marketing effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers face to face.
  • Ability to work full-time hours in non-remote, outdoor settings.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in sales or marketing preferred.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Competency in using smartphones or tablets for scheduling and communication.
  • Physical endurance necessary for walking and standing for extensive periods.
  • Willingness to work under different weather conditions.
  • Commitment to ethical and honest behavior.
