Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator I & II to support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various Information Technology (IT) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, install, manage, and troubleshoot both UNIX and Windows operating systems, as well as GOTS/COTS software.
  • Provide ongoing support for IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization while conducting system capacity analysis.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting software installations and operations.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of computer networks, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Handle Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Analyze and rectify data flow issues within systems, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Interpret network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot data flow and computer system-related issues.
  • Have a working knowledge of enterprise data flow and Nifi, which is advantageous.
  • Be willing to work in a 24/7 shift environment, with multiple shift schedules available to ensure continuous desk coverage.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications:

System Administrator I:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university is required, with five (5) years of additional experience serving as a substitute for a degree.
  • CWIP Certification (IAT Level 1) is required (e.g., Security+, etc.).

System Administrator II:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university is required, with five (5) years of additional experience serving as a substitute for a degree.
  • CWIP Certification (IAT Level 2) is required (e.g., Security+, etc.).
