Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator I to support our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our Information Technology (IT) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, install, manage, and troubleshoot both UNIX and Windows operating systems along with GOTS/COTS software.
  • Provide support for IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, monitoring, and resolving issues across client/server/storage/network devices.
  • Optimize system performance and resource utilization while conducting system capacity analysis.
  • Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting software installations and operations.
  • Possess a solid understanding of computer networks, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Handle Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Analyze and rectify data flow issues within systems, requiring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Utilize knowledge of network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot data flow and computer system-related challenges.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data flow and Nifi is advantageous.
  • Be prepared to work in a 24/7 shift environment, with multiple shift schedules available to ensure continuous desk coverage.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications:

System Administrator I:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on projects of similar scope, type, and complexity is essential. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • CWIP Certification (IAT Level 1) is required (e.g., Security+, etc.).

System Administrator II:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on projects of similar scope, type, and complexity is essential. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • CWIP Certification (IAT Level 2) is required (e.g., Security+, etc.).
