Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

About the Role:

The Outside Sales Representative will be based out of our Allen, TX location, responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts to increase profitable sales through building and maintaining high-quality relationships with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Utilize company digital tools and products to connect with customers, develop creative solutions, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers to plan, track, and implement sales strategies and develop new markets
  • Assist customers with product selection and application, utilizing knowledge, internal specialists, and supplier representatives
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, learning and evaluating customer operations to present tailored solutions to each customer's business objectives and needs
  • Work with management, credit, and customers to resolve payment issues promptly
  • Gather and report to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market
  • Participate in professional development to improve professional selling skills and maintain technical capabilities
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including sales call schedules and expense reports
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers and be sensitive to their needs
  • Customer-oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence
  • Product and application knowledge essential
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM)
