About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at the Rhode Island Blood Center. As a key member of our Donor Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and register all presenting donors professionally, providing exceptional customer service and a pleasant experience.
  • Observe and adhere to all safety policies, FDA guidelines, and AABB regulations.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment and work effectively with diverse personalities and working styles.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and accurately complete specific paperwork associated with directed, autologous, and therapeutic donors.
  • Maintain donor/patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to adapt easily to varied work conditions and scheduled hours.
  • Pleasant, positive attitude, with a strong commitment to honesty and dependability.
  • Fluent spoken, written, and comprehension skills in English.
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive starting pay of $18.02 per hour, working 35 hours per week in a full-time capacity.
