Guest Services Manager - B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group

This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the seamless operation of the front office. The successful candidate will leverage leadership capabilities to enhance revenue, optimize profitability, and uphold service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guest contentment by meeting service standards and addressing needs promptly. Collaborate with staff to train and exemplify superior guest service practices. Drive business revenue through innovative service initiatives aimed at elevating guest experiences.

2. Financial Management: Oversee expense management to maximize hotel profitability. Implement effective labor management through strategic scheduling and adjustments based on operational demands. Identify and execute cost-saving strategies while adhering to procurement guidelines to maintain budgetary compliance.

3. Team Leadership and Development: Evaluate team performance and implement corrective measures as necessary. Inspire staff through goal-setting, continuous feedback, and recognition. Manage the recruitment, training, and development of team members, ensuring compliance with training policies and maintaining accurate training records.

4. Operational Oversight: Attend all relevant meetings to facilitate effective communication and planning. Manage all front desk initiatives with a keen focus on detail, organization, and problem-solving. Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

5. Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular inspections of front desk operations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Foster a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all procedures related to guest and team member incidents.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED is required.

- A minimum of 1 year of guest service experience in a hospitality context is preferred. Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-centric approach are essential.

- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
