Position Summary - Volunteer Experience Specialist

The Volunteer Experience Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the onboarding process for new troop volunteers, along with managing the associated administrative responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Instructional Program Manager.

This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, and it comes with eligibility for benefits. Occasional travel and evening or weekend hours may be necessary.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and maintaining ongoing communication with new troop volunteers
  • Organizing and leading Welcome Sessions for incoming troop volunteers
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks related to the Volunteer Experience
  • Supporting the Volunteer Experience Team during events such as Volunteer Appreciation, Expo, and Volunteer Recognitions
