Role Overview:

We are seeking a Manager of Analytics who will play a pivotal role in delivering analytical solutions that drive strategic decision-making within the organization. This position requires a hands-on approach to developing analytics deliverables that enable our clients to harness actionable insights for achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex analytical initiatives utilizing diverse data sources.
  • Extract, aggregate, and validate data from various platforms for comprehensive analysis.
  • Effectively apply technical specifications to healthcare datasets.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to a fast-paced environment.
  • Implement robust analytical and statistical methodologies.
  • Design, produce, and review quality analytics for financial, actuarial, clinical, and operational metrics.
  • Develop efficient, reusable analytical code and leverage existing data team resources.
  • Communicate analytical findings and integrate them into forecasting and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Address ad-hoc inquiries and facilitate self-service analytics for business users.
  • Propose enhancements to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis to recommend performance improvements.
  • Advise on database design and data collection strategies.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of analytical outputs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to disseminate critical information and enhance data awareness.
  • Engage with external data providers to secure relevant data for informed decision-making.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of SQL experience and 3 years working with Enterprise Data Warehouses in a healthcare context.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in designing healthcare analytics solutions using administrative claims and clinical data.
  • Experience in management analytics, actuarial science, risk adjustment, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, Medicare FFS, MSSP, ACO programs, and commercial populations.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting analytic insights using BI tools and other relevant formats.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting business partners through analytics.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Sigma.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based query applications like Snowflake.
  • Experience with ETL processes for disparate healthcare data sources.
