Restaurant Assistant Manager

Become a vital part of the Big Chicken team as a Restaurant Assistant Manager by helping ensure our restaurant runs smoothly during your shifts. We're looking for a passionate hospitality-centered individual with strong leadership abilities and a customer-focused approach. If you can effectively coordinate and motivate a team to provide outstanding service, this role is for you
Key Responsibilities- Lead and inspire the front and back of house team members during shifts.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
- Offer guidance and support to team members to achieve performance goals.
- Promote excellent customer service by coaching and demonstrating positive interactions.
- Handle customer concerns and questions promptly and professionally.
- Ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to oversee food preparation and service during busy times.
- Track inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Help train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and provide feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Compile shift reports detailing sales, customer feedback, and other important metrics.
- Share key information with the management team to support overall business improvements.
- Experience in a supervisory or shift management role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of food safety and health regulations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
