Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bakery Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing our team members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and train team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Conduct daily and weekly orders of merchandise and product, ensuring proper storage, staging, and organization
  • Organize and account for product invoices to ensure purchasing habits are controlled and profitable
  • Assist with conducting monthly inventories to measure profitability and forecast department performance
  • Ensure quality of products meets company standards and food code requirements
  • Assist guests with finding products and answering questions quickly and professionally
  • Assist with planning and setting up events to drive traffic to the department
  • Write weekly team schedules
  • Manage replenishment process to ensure quality and fresh standards are timely and appropriate
  • Ensure proper logs, reports, and tracking are performed according to company standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation standards set by the company and food code
