- Inspect equipment, supplies, and work areas to ensure compliance with set standards.
- Design food presentation and create appealing food displays.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques.
- Estimate the amounts and costs of required supplies, including food and ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to develop recipes and menus, considering seasonal ingredient availability and customer volume.
- Analyze recipes to determine pricing for menu items based on ingredient costs, labor, and overhead.
- Prepare and cook a variety of food items.
- Plan production schedules and determine staffing needs to ensure timely service delivery.
- Recruit and hire kitchen personnel, including cooks and support staff.
- Engage with clients to discuss menu options for special events, such as weddings and banquets.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
- Coordinate equipment purchases and maintenance.

Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree in culinary arts or related field.
