  • Design, develop, and execute robust systems to ensure the delivery of a quality product while supporting growth through the establishment of routers, work instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Instill a quality (5S) and disciplined approach to operational activities.
  • Ensure smooth product transition from development engineering through production to the customer.
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding performance, progress towards group goals & objectives, as well as company goals & objectives.
  • Maintain the Operations dashboard (daily updates) and facilitate the daily operations meeting.
  • Complete assigned projects in alignment with the Company's strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Quality & Engineering personnel to resolve issues such as quality, parts, or any other challenges impacting production.
  • Deliver a quality product that fulfills customer requirements and expectations.
  • Implement cost reduction and efficiency programs that align with corporate objectives.
  • Work alongside Engineering to specify new purchase products and/or vendors, demonstrating familiarity with general manufacturing concepts.
  • Conduct employee training as necessary and maintain the Core Boards.
  • Generate and manage required performance evaluations.
  • Authorize purchase requisitions for all items necessary for Operations.
  • Approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions of products.
Job Requirements

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: To excel in this role, an individual must successfully perform each essential duty. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Must possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively present information, draft reports, analyze data, and plan accordingly. Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels. Proficient in operating, extracting, and analyzing data from ERP systems. Capable of analyzing problem situations and developing and implementing solutions. High level of technical/engineering competence is essential. Ability to interpret and convey a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) with a minimum of five years of supervisory or managerial experience in an electromechanical manufacturing setting. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, is required. Experience in a job shop environment, as opposed to high-volume production, is preferred. A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple diverse products simultaneously are essential. Quality experience is advantageous.
