Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services.
- Develop and implement processes to improve workflow, productivity, and quality of care.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient medications, inventory, and other relevant data.
- Provide training and guidance to pharmacy technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in an LTC pharmacy setting required; prior experience in a leadership role desirable.
- Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system; ability to operate a computer.
- Desirable skills include workflow management, scheduling, and performance management.
