About the Role: At Chevron Stations Inc, we offer an exciting opportunity to work as a Car Wash Attendant. This role requires interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction with their car wash experience in terms of speed, quality, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer service concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take orders for unlimited memberships and sell them with accuracy and speed.
  • Handle credit card transactions through the kiosk system.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by completing daily checklists and adhering to safety guidelines.

Job Expectations and Key Performance Indicators:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Clean and maintain the car wash site and equipment regularly.
  • Assist customers with queries related to pricing, services, and car wash processes.
  • Guide customers into the car wash conveyor safely.
  • Sell car wash services and unlimited memberships effectively.
  • Maintain stock levels of chemicals and equipment.
  • Assist customers in processing transactions efficiently.
  • Ensure a safe working environment on-site while collaborating with colleagues, following all safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate motivation and teamwork skills, with confidence in work processes and goals.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and clear information sharing.
  • Display ability to organize and maintain a clean and inviting car wash site.
  • Possess problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Show resilience and consistency, viewing every customer interaction as an opportunity.
  • Prioritize physical activity and engagement throughout the day.
  • Maintain professionalism through attire, behavior, and interactions with customers.
  • Retail or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement (18 years or older) for California locations.
  • Be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand for extended periods, working at a kiosk or car wash entrance.
  • Lift at least 50 pounds occasionally, bending, twisting, and lifting equipment and materials.
  • Work in an outdoor environment with repetitive tasks.
