About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Environmental Engineer to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the manufacturing location complies with all applicable Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure employees and operations maintain compliance with all environment, health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate metrics, evaluating data trending, and providing data input to management reviews.
  • Assist with the implementation of EHS policies, practices, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Develop and conduct training programs to comply with regulatory corporate EHS initiatives.
  • Coordinate incident/accident investigation process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Conduct environment, health and safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Participate in external EHS compliance audits and loss prevention audits.
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Environment, Health and Safety Management or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a designated environment, health and safety position, with experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of environment, health and safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
