  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and rates, ensuring up-to-date information for guests and staff.
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via all communication avenues, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Post charges for room, food, liquor, or telephone services to guest bills, if necessary.
  • Make reservations for guests, including transportation and entertainment options.
  • Deposit guest valuables in the hotel safe deposit box, ensuring secure storage.
  • Utilize various office software to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of each shift, including night audit procedures.
Requirements
  • Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to accurately report information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to assist with various office tasks as needed, ensuring a seamless work environment.
  • Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Attend required meetings and participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Projects and assignments must be completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
  • Ability to adjust to high-pressure conditions and be open to change.
  • Assume responsibility for personal growth and development, seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
  • Must possess good mathematical and computer skills.
  • High school education required; relevant training and experience, as well as additional education, are preferred.
  • CPR and first aid training are preferred.
  • Additional language ability is preferred.
