Prefabrication Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Prefabrication Manager to join our team in the Northeast region. As a key member of our prefabrication team, you will be responsible for advancing the use of prefabricated products, services, and means and methods throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement prefabrication plans for projects in the Northeast region.
  • Collaborate with regional prefab resources to advance the use of prefabricated products and services.
  • Work closely with project teams to develop and execute prefabrication scopes of work.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prefab vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze project data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the National Prefabrication Team to advance the use of prefabricated products and services.
  • Participate in project VDC/BIM coordination to ensure accurate representation of prefabricated elements.
  • Assist in discussions between manufacturers and project teams.
  • Collaborate with regional prefab leaders to ensure proper handoff from full assessment for prefab project integration.
  • Develop and maintain a core field operations team to support prefab installation.
Requirements:
  • Deep industry knowledge and technical construction experience.
  • Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing coordination experience required.
  • Understanding of project delivery methods and processes associated with implementing prefabrication.
  • Understanding of scope writing and buy-out processes.
  • Design build/design assist leadership experience and IPD project knowledge a plus.
  • Self-starter with a proactive and diligent approach.
  • Commitment to and passion for prefabrication and construction industry advancement.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to develop and evaluate new product opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support business unit and projects.
  • Strong customer service commitment for internal and external stakeholders.
