Job Title: Marketing Intern

At Banner Life Insurance Company, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team. As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including developing marketing collateral, analyzing and comparing social media campaign results, and assisting with event planning and execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral, such as presentations and market reports, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
  • Collaborate with team on social media campaigns, analyzing and comparing results to improve performance.
  • Assist with design and distribution of internal email marketing campaigns.
  • Support public relations efforts, joining biweekly calls with PR agency and assisting with press release development and interview preparation as needed.
  • Assist in event planning and execution as required.
  • Support the marketing team with other day-to-day tasks and projects.
Requirements:
  • Rising Junior or Senior majoring in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Knowledge of any or all of the following: content development, social media strategy, digital advertising, web development, internal communications, public relations, and brand building.
  • Creative with attention to detail.
  • Fast learner and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Critical thinker leveraging data driven research and analytics.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs a plus.
