About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join our team at Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates, Inc. in Houston, TX.

This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of existing clients, developing and nurturing relationships with decision-makers, and acting as a trusted risk manager for mid-size businesses.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales and/or as a commercial insurance Account Executive, a deep understanding of insurance policies, risk management, and best practices, exceptional interpersonal skills, and strong organizational and analytical skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a diverse portfolio of existing clients alongside Advisors.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers and executives.
  • Act as a trusted Risk Manager for mid-size businesses, tailoring insurance solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct insurance policy reviews, suggest updates, and ensure timely renewals.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling insurance and risk management products.
  • Collaborate in sales strategy meetings to contribute to growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales and/or as a commercial insurance Account Executive.
  • A deep understanding of insurance policies, risk management, and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience handling mid-to-large property and casualty accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Must have an active Texas General Lines Property and Casualty License.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Insurance Industry professional designations preferred.
  • Association program experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
