Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Financial Services Coordinator III to join our team at Healthier Mississippi People LLC. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographic and billing information.
  • Process and submit clean claims to insurance companies in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Collaborate with management and co-workers to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Perform advanced patient financial service functions, including billing, follow-up, and review of third-party and patient billing.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five (5) years of relevant revenue cycle experience.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10/HCPCS/CPT coding.
  • Certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of appeals process.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environments, including high noise levels and exposure to heat and cold. The position also requires occasional lifting/carrying up to 100 pounds and frequent sitting and standing.
