Job Summary:

The CPR Instructor will function as a CPR and mandatory skills instructor for Upstate University Hospital. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality training sessions, documenting training records, and ensuring compliance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive CPR training programs for hospital staff and community members
  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to maintain and improve skills
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, including participant rosters and evaluation results
  • Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to identify training needs and develop targeted programs
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • CPR-BLS Certification is required by the time of appointment
  • Experience in teaching CPR and clinical skills is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
