Per Diem CPR Educator

Job Summary:
The Per Diem CPR Educator at Upstate University Hospital functions as an internal educational consultant with responsibility for coordinating a variety of educational activities. These activities include developing and presenting materials for clinical orientation programs, as well as coordinating and instructing CPR education.
Key responsibilities will also involve ensuring that the methodology and curriculum presented to staff is educationally sound. This includes conducting educational needs assessments and analyzing training materials to support needs assessment. Additionally, the Per Diem CPR Educator will assist in program participant records maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
CPR Instructor certification is required. CPR-BLS certification is also required by the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical education and a strong understanding of adult learning principles.
Work Schedule:
The Per Diem CPR Educator will work a variety of shifts, including evenings and nights, including weekends.
