Job Description:

As a Senior HR Manager at Michael Page US, you will have the opportunity to lead the HR function within a prominent manufacturing company in the Chicago Land area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on strategic planning, employee engagement, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, enhancing overall organizational effectiveness.
• Oversee and refine recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality talent in the manufacturing sector.
• Design training and development initiatives that promote career growth and skill enhancement among employees.
• Enhance performance management systems to ensure they are effective and aligned with company goals.
• Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing necessary policies.
• Review and improve compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive in the market.
• Champion diversity and inclusion efforts within the organization, promoting a welcoming environment for all employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
• 5+ years of HR management experience, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proven experience in handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
