Client seeks HR Director for multi-site operations in Chicago and Pennsylvania. Key responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, HR policies, and compliance.

Travel Requirement: 25% travel to plants in Pennsylvania.

Compensation: $90-115k+ bonus.

Language Requirement: Spanish conversationally required.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations and Performance Management: Provides day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Maintains compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Benefits and Payroll: Administers payroll processing, time and attendance, paid time off benefits, and compensation programs.
  • Training and Development: Delivers and administers training programs.
  • HRIS and Reporting: Maintains accurate records in the HRIS system.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Posts open positions, reviews resumes, screens applicants, and coordinates interviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3 years of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing environment.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to model leadership behaviors.
  • Knowledge of Federal/State employment laws.
  • Strong conflict resolution, oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
