We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Customer Service Representative.

*$750 new hire sign-on bonus available for this position. (Rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)

Hours: 20hrs

Shift:
Day Shift, 8:00am - 12:00pm or 10:00am - 2:00pm

Key Responsibilities:


This position reports to the Manager, Team Leader, or designee, and is responsible for accurately coordinating, scheduling, and completing registration for outpatient visits within assigned departments.

Responsibilities include gathering patient demographic and insurance details, verifying and communicating any patient liabilities, and collecting clinical information in response to scheduling inquiries.

The role involves explaining patient preparation requirements and collaborating with clinical departments regarding protocols and modifications to scheduling procedures.

Additionally, the position may entail addressing non-scheduling requests as appropriate or accurately transferring patients to the relevant department to address their inquiries.


Qualifications:
Completion of four years of high school or GED is required.

An Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience is preferred.

Prior experience in a call center environment is preferred.

Strong computer skills are essential, with a typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

Experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Excellent organizational skills are required.

Ability to listen and document simultaneously is essential.

Proficiency in utilizing call center telephone systems, multitasking, and working both independently and collaboratively is required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and a genuine service orientation are necessary.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination upon hiring.

Compensation:
USD $27.50 /Hr.
