Job Description

Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited facility with 152 licensed beds and is the primary referral center for residents of Alaska's interior. We are seeking a skilled nurse to join our team in Women and Infant Services.

This role will involve caring for labor patients, postpartum couplets, antepartum patients, and circulating C-sections. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Assess and document patient information to develop a comprehensive care plan.
  2. Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team.
  3. Develop and implement education plans for patients and families.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and progress.
