Position Overview

As a Lead Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the stability of our platform while boosting engineering efficiency. You will engage in challenging projects that will not only expand your technical expertise but also empower your colleagues to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dependable cloud infrastructure.
  • Establish and uphold effective CI/CD processes.
  • Contribute to incident management and participate in on-call duties.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Solid understanding of fundamental computer science principles.
  • High proficiency in networking concepts, including VPCs, Subnets, ELB, and Route53.
  • Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure as code, particularly with Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, preferably Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability to implement and manage AWS cloud services, including S3, ECS, EC2, VPC, and RDS.
  • Strong grasp of cloud security principles, specifically AWS IAM and the AWS Cloud Security Framework.
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with CircleCI and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Familiarity with observability practices and tools, preferably DataDog.
  • Some exposure to Ruby on Rails is advantageous.
  • Robust understanding of web application security.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) is a plus.
