Job Title: Lead Commercial Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Commercial Construction Manager to join our team at International Staff Consulting. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our commercial construction projects from start to finish.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction management, with experience in overseeing large-scale projects from design through to completion. They will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, and site safety activities, as well as coordinating subcontractors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, including negotiation of contracts and pricing
  • Oversee site safety activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Supervise craft employees, assigning tasks and evaluating productivity
  • Review shop drawings, manage materials procurement, and coordinate deliveries
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work site, inspecting overall work quality and identifying areas for improvement
  • Proactively manage potential schedule conflicts and implement solutions in a budget-friendly manner
  • Provide clear direction and answer questions about construction processes to employees and subcontractors
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience in commercial construction management, preferably with a focus on ground-up/new commercial projects
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
  • Ability to positively lead and motivate a team of subcontractors on any given project
  • Proven time management skills and deadline-oriented
  • Ability to read and interpret technical construction documents, including blueprints, finish schedules, submittals, and equipment specs
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
