Job Description

The Residential Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:">

  2. Direct and monitor the progress of construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.">

  2. Coordinate day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope, including the preparation and scheduling of work crews and subcontractors.">

  2. Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure all completed work meets the highest standards and project specifications.">

  1. ">
  2. Maintain strict adherence to budgets and forecasts, proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans.">

  1. ">
  2. Foster collaborative relationships with project stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and expectation setting.">

  1. ">
  2. Supervise, evaluate, and troubleshoot onsite work to preempt and resolve issues promptly, mitigating delays and cost overruns.">

  2. Facilitate regular meetings with project teams and partners, maintaining stringent reporting routines for all project aspects.">

  2. Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety standards, and legal requirements.">

  2. This role will be responsible for client communication and expectation setting.">

  2. Lead and perform quality control for subcontractors and internal workers.">

  2. Implement and manage project documentation and records for seamless operations and historical reference.">

Requirements

">
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a strong plus.">
">
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar role in residential or commercial construction projects.">
">
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, reading of blueprints, and architectural/structural designs.">
">
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.">
">
  • Proficiency in BuilderTrend software a strong plus.">
">
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage teams under tight deadlines and within budget constraints.">
">
  • Robust problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for identifying and resolving project bottlenecks.">
">
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to construction.">
">
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all project stakeholders.">
">
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in quality control and adherence to specifications.">
">
  • Physical ability to navigate the construction site in various weather conditions.">
">
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed to multiple project sites.">

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
