Engineering Operations Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Coordinator to join our team at Sand & Sea. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel, institutional, or HVAC systems.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our hotel's physical building and its features, working closely with our Director of Engineering, Engineering Manager, and Assistant Engineering Manager to execute preventative maintenance, projects, and tasks assigned by your supervisor.

As an Engineering Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, participating in major repairs and improvements to the hotel, and performing moderate repairs.

You will also be responsible for executing HOTSOS tickets within your skillset, maintaining accurate log records related to HOTSOS and department-specific checklists, and responding promptly to equipment or system failures.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics, and will have the ability to suggest options to resolve equipment or system failures.
