Who We Are Looking For:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental Engineer to work from one of our offices. Our team excels in environmental engineering, waste management, and water resources, supported by a comprehensive engineering design center. We conduct assessments of contaminated sites, manage remediation projects, and provide environmental services to a wide range of clients across various sectors. Our work involves evaluating environmental impacts, performing risk assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate long-term environmental risks through effective remediation systems and management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance in project execution, remedial design, and the operation and maintenance of remediation systems.
  • Prepare bids, select contractors, and manage procurement processes.
  • Conduct design calculations, develop specifications, and create estimates for remediation and civil design projects.
  • Plan fieldwork and coordinate subcontractors for various site activities.
  • Occasionally perform fieldwork to collect samples and oversee the operation of remediation systems.
  • Analyze operational data from remediation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with permits and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing remediation systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, including feasibility studies and remedial action plans.
  • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring junior staff and providing environmental insights.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and site assessments.
  • Generate technical environmental reports.
  • Engage in local, national, and global projects, occasionally supporting other offices.
  • Mentor junior team members in a collaborative environment.
What You Will Bring:
  • Proven experience in delivering contaminated site investigations and remediation.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies.
  • Exceptional communication and report writing skills.
  • Commitment to excellence in client service.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Current Civil PE registration in California.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with AutoDesk CADD is preferred.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred.
