Position Summary

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Global Compliance, the Service Delivery and Support Analyst in Regulatory Compliance plays a crucial role in ensuring that essential systems, applications, processes, and procedures are effectively designed and operational. This ensures that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will oversee that Xe's products and services comply with local regulations and that operations align with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Ensure alignment with business and regulatory performance expectations.
  • Adjusting KPIs and KRIs: Modify these metrics as necessary based on business needs and risk appetite.
  • Vendor Oversight: Monitor vendors and vendor-managed applications to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and manage issues that may arise.
  • Collaboration with Business Process Improvement Team: Identify opportunities for enhancement within the department.
  • Issue Tracking and Coordination: Manage issues from regulatory exams, internal audits, and independent reviews, ensuring timely remediation.
  • Communication Management: Serve as the primary contact for departmental communication channels, including critical notifications.
  • Audit Support: Assist Compliance Heads during regulatory examinations and audits.
  • Policy Management: Maintain and regularly review the directory of policies and procedures to reflect current practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about key regulatory changes and collaborate with the training team to develop necessary training.
  • Program Oversight: Ensure monitoring and oversight of key program elements are executed as required.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain knowledge of core activities and assess proposed initiatives from a regulatory risk perspective.
  • Training Material Support: Assist in the review and development of regulatory training materials for the business.

Compliance Governance

  • System and Procedural Excellence: Conduct regular compliance assurance monitoring and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Policy Recommendations: Provide recommendations to the HOC regarding policy exceptions and issue escalations.

Commercial and Business Partnership

  • Compliance Culture Support: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on regulatory compliance matters.
  • Proactive Leadership: Foster a strong compliance culture and build effective relationships between compliance and business functions.
  • Risk Area Recommendations: Suggest actions to the HOC to address risk areas and track completion of agreed actions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the financial sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law enforcement, legal studies, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the global regulatory landscape and key program requirements.
  • Legal and Compliance Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Data Analytics Skills: Proficiency in reporting and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management capabilities to deliver high-quality work.
  • Risk Assessment: Ability to evaluate complex activities for potential compliance and operational risks.
