Location:
Family Medicine of Abilene, PA is seeking to expand its team with the addition of a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP). This role is integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to our established outpatient population.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Compensation:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventative screenings, patient assessments, and physical examinations.
  • Document detailed care plans, maintain accurate problem lists, and ensure vaccination records are up to date.
  • Order and interpret lab tests, x-rays, and other diagnostic procedures while providing patient education.
  • Facilitate coordinated care by integrating information from various healthcare visits into the clinical record.
  • Maintain high-quality care standards and document appropriately to achieve excellent quality scores in payer programs.
  • Optimize patient flow to reduce wait times and enhance practice productivity.
  • Promote patient satisfaction through evidence-based education and effective communication.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current licensure in Texas.
  • Experience in a primary care or similar healthcare environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems; familiarity with eCW is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented with a positive outlook and commitment to quality care.
