Family Medicine of Abilene, TX is seeking to fill two full-time Advanced Practice Provider positions. With a legacy of 24 years in the Big Country, Dr. Schultz leads a well-established outpatient practice focused on adult care. This role offers a supportive work environment under a dedicated supervising physician.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm

Compensation:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, aligned with AAPA/MGMA salary benchmarks.

Collaborate with outstanding colleagues in a setting that values work-life balance, with no weekend or holiday shifts.

Role Overview:
As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate, you will be integral to our core provider team, undertaking a variety of responsibilities to ensure exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive clinical primary care, including preventative screenings, patient history assessments, physical examinations, and detailed care documentation.
  • Integrate records from various healthcare visits to enhance care coordination and derive clinical insights.
  • Maintain high-quality care standards and document accurately to achieve excellent quality scores in commercial and public payer ACO programs.
  • Optimize patient flow to reduce wait times and meet practice productivity objectives.
  • Elevate patient satisfaction through evidence-based education, shared decision-making, and exemplary bedside manner.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and valid licensure in Texas.
  • Preferred experience in primary care or similar healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in documenting clinical information within an electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to ACO principles of high-quality, high-value care.
