Family Medicine of Abilene, TX is seeking to fill two full-time Advanced Practice Provider positions. The practice has a strong foundation with a dedicated adult outpatient population. The work environment is collaborative, supported by an experienced supervising physician.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience and aligns with industry standards as per AAPA/MGMA salary reports.
Work Environment:
Enjoy a supportive team atmosphere with no weekend or holiday shifts.
Role Overview:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your duties will encompass a variety of clinical responsibilities aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventative screenings, patient assessments, and physical examinations.
- Document care plans, maintain problem lists, and manage vaccination records while ordering necessary diagnostic tests.
- Facilitate well-coordinated care by integrating information from various healthcare visits into patient records.
- Ensure high-quality care delivery and maintain excellent documentation to support quality metrics within ACO programs.
- Strive for efficient patient care to reduce wait times and meet practice productivity objectives.
- Foster patient satisfaction through evidence-based education and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current Texas licensure.
- Preferred experience in a primary care or similar healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team-oriented with a positive outlook.
- Commitment to high-quality, value-driven care.
