Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team at Addison Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for complex industrial equipment systems, including mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, software, and machine communications.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure that documentation is accurate, complete, and meets the needs of our clients.
  • Utilize XML authoring tools, MS Office productivity software suites, and CAD editing software to create and edit documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that our documentation is current and relevant.
Requirements
  • Technical training or education in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Experience with technical documentation, including writing, editing, and publishing.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment systems, including mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, software, and machine communications.
  • Proficiency in XML authoring tools, MS Office productivity software suites, and CAD editing software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
