Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze project financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, implementing and maintaining internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success.
  • Collaborate with project developers and project controls team to ensure costs and known risks are accurately recorded.
  • Review and maintain accounting internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Support project finance with cost validations and equity and loan financing.
  • Support company ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 815 compliance and review.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in renewable energy, construction industry, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with project finance, complex loan structures, multiple entities, tax equity, and construction accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP), financial reporting software (OneStream, Essbase), and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to sustainability and passion for the renewable energy industry.
