About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in high-rise multifamily and hospitality projects to join our team as a Senior Construction Superintendent. This role is ideal for a professional with over 10 years of experience managing $100M+ projects, particularly those involving concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all field operations on high-rise multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use construction projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of superintendents, assistant superintendents, and other field staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Coordinate with project managers, project engineers, and other office staff to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with these documents.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to ensure quality control and address any potential issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on high-rise multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use projects valued at $100M+.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a hands-on approach to overseeing field operations.
  • Extensive experience with concrete construction projects; wood-frame experience is not applicable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
