Conflicts Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Conflicts Researcher to join our Intake Services department. This is a non-exempt position that reports to the Senior Manager of Intake Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough conflict of interest searches for clients, matters, new hires, and upon request.
  • Conduct factual research to identify potential conflicts and ensure the accuracy and quality of other relevant data.
  • Review submitted data for new client and client/matter acceptance, researching accuracy and quality of information as well as potential client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in software necessary to perform job functions.
  • Provide telephone assistance and respond to inquiries from other staff members and end users regarding conflict-of-interest checks, client/matter status, and end-user system support.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; some post-secondary education preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of conflicts, records, billing, or legal content experience is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Internet research skills and demonstrated ability to use legal and financial research systems.
  • Prior experience in utilizing automated conflicts systems preferred.
  • Proven aptitude to learn new software applications.
What We Offer:

The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $70,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience level, education/training, and relevant skills.
