We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead the UNM Welcome Center as an Operations Director. This is a key role in the Division of Enrollment Management and Admissions Office, responsible for managing the daily functions and operations of the Welcome Center.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily functions and operations of the Welcome Center, including managing professional staff and student staff.
- Develop and implement new student recruitment strategies, ensuring highly positive visitor engagement and experiences.
- Represent the University to community members, and facilitate event planning and management.
- Interact with prospective students, public presentations, campus tours, staff leadership, problem solving, and use and maintenance of student databases.
- High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration and/or human resources.
- 3 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Experience working on a university campus.
- Experience recruiting students.
- Event planning experience.
- Experience public speaking.
- Experience with student information systems such as Ellucian, Salesforce, and Excel.
- Experience working as part of a team.
