Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team at Master Electronics. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux and Windows server infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Keep systems running smoothly through regular performance monitoring, security audits, and timely updates
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems to maintain a secure and efficient Linux environment
  • Lead the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of a robust Windows Server infrastructure
  • Safeguard critical services like Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP by ensuring their stability and security
  • Champion best practices for server hardening and optimization to keep everything running at peak performance
  • Design and maintain rock-solid backup and disaster recovery strategies for both on-premises and cloud-based environments
  • Manage backup solutions, ensuring data is always protected
  • Deploy, configure, and oversee VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize virtual machine performance
  • Troubleshoot virtualization challenges with precision
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Operations team to provision and manage AWS resources
  • Implement and uphold rigorous security measures and access controls in AWS environments
  • Leverage AWS Systems Manager for centralized management, automation, and inventory management
  • Develop and refine scripts to automate routine tasks, system provisioning, and configuration management
  • Lead the charge in automation workflows using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Systems Manager
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub
  • Relevant certifications like RHCE, MCSA/MCSE, VCP, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
