About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at ISSA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through a direct relationship with prospects, current customers, and members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Utilize our CRM tool to manage leads and sales activities, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.
  • Sell membership, educational, and certification programs to customers through a consultative sales approach, highlighting the value proposition and benefits.
  • Nurture and close leads, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Discover and recommend new product ideas to meet customers' evolving needs, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed sales performance goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Attend industry events and tradeshows to generate leads and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the reseller sales channel to leverage their expertise and expand our reach.
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of traditional and emerging marketing/sales tactics, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and build rapport with customers.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, with a passion for sales and customer service.
  • Ability to work in an office or remote setting, with proficiency in CRM and/or AMS software.
  • Associates degree in business administration or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, customer service, or account management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with trade associations or a similar not-for-profit environment.
  • Knowledge of the cleaning, facilities management, and/or restoration industry.
