Job Summary:
Under general supervision, and according to well-defined policies and procedures, the Medical Assistant/Receptionist assists in the delivery of primary health and patient care management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient registration and scheduling
  • Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks
  • Answer telephones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Provide customer assistance and support
  • Process medical records and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistant
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)/Patient Care Technician (PCT)
