Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in the RIA Neurovascular team, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This dynamic individual will be responsible for directing workflow, triaging questions and concerns, and communicating with providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct workflow for the RIA Neurovascular Clinic, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations.
  • Prepare patients for appointments by taking vital signs, recording initial concerns, and documenting medical information.
  • Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and exams, ensuring timely and accurate communication with patients, providers, and radiologists.
  • Assist radiologists with paperwork, previous exams, and reports, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with staff, radiologists, and referring physician offices to identify and resolve patient-related issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with patients, significant others, and coworkers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal staff, radiologists, referring physician offices, and patients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with medical terminology and scheduling experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, flexible, and reliable, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Benefits:

Radiology Imaging Associates offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, AD&D, EAP, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, PTO, and holiday pay for eligible employees. Additionally, part-time employees may have access to some benefits on a pro-rated basis.

Compensation:

Compensation for this role is between $19.25 to $24.50 per hour, depending on qualifications. In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates' reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
