Job Overview:

This position involves supporting the corporate lending division by ensuring quality control throughout the small business loan documentation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing various loan documentation tasks for moderately complex loans, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures regarding loan products.
  • Handle documentation for moderately complex loans.
  • Facilitate the processing and closing of loan products.
  • Analyze loan documentation policies while reviewing applicant information, property details, and necessary documentation, ensuring all required verifications and follow-ups are completed.
  • Receive guidance from the Loan Documentation supervisor and escalate any non-standard inquiries.
  • Oversee a designated pipeline of loans and provide support and training to fellow Loan Documentation team members.
  • Collaborate with the immediate Loan Documentation team and other functional areas on standard processes.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with loan documentation, loan administration, and/or loan processing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a large corporate environment similar to that of a major financial institution.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and manage a high volume of work.
