Commercial Construction Loan Disbursement Specialist

As a key member of the Commercial Lending team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth disbursement of commercial construction loans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze loan draws for commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with loan agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Relationship Management and Loan Closing teams to set up loan budgets and ensure timely disbursements.
  • Work closely with bank customers to resolve budget, documentation, or payout concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Engage with Credit and Loan Administration groups to ensure consistent loan administration practices and adherence to bank policies.
  • Schedule and direct pre-construction discussions with borrowers, builders, and loan officers as needed.
  • Administer participation loans, coordinate with participating/lead banks, and ensure loan administration is consistent with loan documents and bank policies.
  • Prepare payoff quotes and partial lien releases, and review loans for past due status, insurance coverage, and tickler exceptions.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent; advanced coursework in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate loan servicing processes, construction loan management, loan documentation, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of loan management processes, financial institution standards, and loan documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, writing, and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
