S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., LLC is seeking a skilled Construction Cost Analyst to enhance their estimating department. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Chief Estimator to deliver precise cost analysis for various construction initiatives.

Primary Duties:

  • Examine project documentation, specifications, and requirements
  • Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs
  • Analyze unit costs and productivity rates for construction tasks, particularly in concrete and carpentry
  • Develop trade scopes and timelines for projects
  • Work in conjunction with team members
  • Solicit bids from subcontractors and evaluate their submissions
  • Participate in pre-bid discussions and site evaluations
  • Compile and present project bid summaries

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in estimating for public works projects
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to build relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
