Job Title: Marketing Communications Writer Editor

The Marketing Communications Writer Editor is a key role within Amideast's strategic communications team, responsible for creating engaging and informative content to promote the organization's mission and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a suite of marketing collateral, including fact sheets and one-pagers, that effectively communicate Amideast's mission and programs.
  • Collaborate with the strategic communications director to ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging across all content.
  • Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, adhering to Amideast's brand guidelines.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality content.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in a higher education, agency, or non-profit setting.
  • Proven writing and copyediting skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a compelling and succinct style.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
